LaunchHere
Open Windows apps on the monitor whose taskbar you click
LaunchHere opens apps on the display whose taskbar icon you click. Free for Windows 10/11 (64-bit), with app exceptions, quick launching, and installer or portable downloads. No accounts or analytics. Internet is only used when you press Check for updates.
Hi, I'm the maker of LaunchHere. It handles a small irritation that comes with multiple monitors: you click an app on the taskbar of one screen and Windows opens it up on a different screen.
LaunchHere sends the window to the monitor you clicked on. It sits in the tray, lets you exclude apps and has a simple UI with a quick launcher. It runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) and offers both installer and portable downloads.
No accounts or analytics, and the app only uses the internet when you press Check for updates. It is currently unsigned, and Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. Some apps, particularly games or apps that run as administrator, might still need to be manually positioned.
If you give it a go, I would love to hear what apps and monitor setups work well or where routing needs improving. You can report any issues on GitHub Issues.
