Hi Product Hunt! We’re Amanda and Will, the husband-and-wife team behind Nacho Average Apps. We build small, focused software that solves the everyday frustrations we run into ourselves.

We built Latch because arranging windows on a Mac always felt more complicated than it needed to be. Most window managers lean heavily on memorized shortcuts, preset zones, or menus. I wanted something more direct: move a window, hold a modifier key, and visually choose exactly where it should go.

Latch started as a small tool for personal use, and building it became an exercise in removing features rather than adding them. The goal was to make window management feel obvious without turning Latch into another giant productivity system.

Latch is available for macOS with a 14-day free trial, followed by a one-time $4.99 purchase. No subscription.

We’d genuinely love to hear how you manage your windows today, what feels frustrating, and where Latch could be better.

Who hunted Latch?

Latch was hunted by Will Vandergrift. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
