Lanjut is a free, open-source resume builder that stays entirely in your browser; no account, nothing uploaded. Style it freely; every export is structured to sail through applicant tracking systems.
Hi everyone 👋
I'm Rizki, and I built Lanjut. "Lanjut" means "continue" or "next" in Indonesian.
Every resume builder I tried had the same catch. You spend an hour on your resume, then hit a paywall at download. Or it asks you to sign up first. Or it uploads your whole work history to someone's server. And the pretty two-column templates often break when an ATS tries to read them.
So Lanjut does the opposite:
1. Free and open source
2. No account. Your resume stays in your browser and never touches a server
3. Style it however you like, but the structure stays ATS-safe. Every export reads in a clean, linear order
4. Export to PDF, DOCX, Plain Text, JSON, and YAML.
How it changed along the way: it started as "just a form that makes a PDF." Then I learned how picky ATS parsers are, so I split the app in two. You can change the look freely. The structure stays locked. After that came six templates, Indonesian language support, JSON/YAML import, and a macOS desktop app.
I'd love your honest feedback. What's missing? What would make you switch from the builder you use now?
Thanks for stopping by, and good luck on your next application. Lanjut!

Who hunted Lanjut?
Lanjut was hunted by Rizki Citra. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
