Hi Product Hunt! I built LangCapture because I kept understanding good phrases in PR reviews and Slack threads, then forgetting them when I needed to write the same thing myself.
LangCapture gives bilingual engineers a focused workflow: highlight a real sentence, save it with translation, replay it with TTS, and retrieve it later. The Chrome extension keeps capture on the page, while automatic redaction removes company and repo names, tickets, links, emails, and secrets before saving.

honestly the auto-redaction sounds super useful since most tools don't handle that well. one thing that would make this a daily driver for me is letting me tag sentences by the actual codebase context they came from, like "error handling" or "code review feedback", so when I'm prepping for a meeting I can pull up only the phrases relevant to that topic. basically turn the library into something more searchable than just chronological.
