Hi Product Hunt! I’m Caroline, the CEO of LaDiDa. Before this, I spent 10 years leading Product at GIPHY, where we helped make GIFs part of how people communicate online. Now my team and I want to do the same thing with music clips.
People already use music in conversation all the time. We all have songs that perfectly capture a feeling, a memory, or something we wish we could say. Music is part of our shared cultural language, but there’s never been an easy way to grab the right moment from a song and send it instantly in a text—like a GIF, but for music.
So we’re building LaDiDa to make it easy to find and share the perfect music clip to react to drama, celebrate a win, or drop an inside joke. And now we’ve brought LaDiDa into iMessage, so you can find and send clips without leaving your texts, and your friends can listen to them inline without leaving the conversation.
We’re still early. We’re a small team, and music licensing is complicated, so our library is very much a work in progress. We’re adding more music and improving the product every day.
