A sleep-sound app with one promise: never get in the way of sleep. 27 sounds, all free, no ads or sign-up: real rain, waves and fire, white noise, and the household sounds parents rely on, like a kitchen fan and the womb.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Ryo, a solo developer in Japan.
When my son was a newborn, he cried through the nights. A little white-noise speaker got us through, and that's where Kumofuton came from. I wanted a sleep-sound app that does one thing well: play a steady, seamless sound until morning and never wake anyone.
- 27 sounds, all free: real CC0 field recordings (rain, waves, fire), white/pink/brown noise, and household sounds for babies (kitchen fan, washing machine, hair dryer, the womb)
- Long, seamless loops, so nothing starts over in the night
- Layer up to two more sounds
- A wake-up alarm that rings even in Silent mode on iOS 26 (AlarmKit)
- A calm cloud-and-stars look that stays dim at night
- No ads, no account, no tracking
Kumofuton Plus is an optional one-time purchase for longer timers and more alarms. No subscription.
I'd love to hear which sounds help you or your little one sleep.

Kumofuton was hunted by RYO. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
