I got tired of fighting 20-year-old interfaces and hitting $45 paywalls just to read academic research that the public already funded.
The system is broken, so I built a bridge to bypass the noise.
Kumo doesn't host files. It’s a surgical routing engine that pings the world's largest open-access databases and hands you the legal PDF in one click.
I built it with a few strict rules:
- Speed: It must find the exact paper and open the PDF directly.
- Open & Legal Access: We bypass the publisher mazes to find the open-access
version you’re legally allowed to read.
- No Bloat: Zero ads, zero paywalls, and absolutely no accounts required.
If knowledge is meant to be shared, it shouldn't be this hard to find.
