Top comment

Hi Product Hunt, I built Kudzu while creating static websites with AI-generated code. I like reviewing function components, props, JSX, hooks, and event handlers, but I didn’t want that authoring format to automatically require React, a virtual DOM, hydration, or a browser-side component tree. Kudzu executes components during the build and produces static HTML, CSS, and only the route-specific ESM needed for actual interactions. Fully static routes ship no JavaScript, while state and events compile into direct DOM updates instead of component rerenders. You can try it with: npm create kudzu@latest my-app cd my-app npm run dev Kudzu is experimental and is not a drop-in React replacement. It supports a statically analyzable subset and reports unsupported patterns during the build. I’d appreciate feedback on the compiler model, diagnostics, generated JavaScript size, and the TSX patterns you would like to see supported next.
