Krosos started as my own spreadsheet problem: money spread across a broker, banks, exchanges and a flat, and no honest single number for "where am I, actually?"
So Krosos syncs all of it read-only into one number: stocks and ETFs, cash and savings, money-market funds, pension, commodities, valuables, property and crypto, minus the mortgage and loans, in your choice of base currency (EUR, USD, GBP or CHF).
Under the balances sits a full transaction ledger, and that's what makes the rest of it work:
Capital gains matched to the lots you actually bought, with your country's rates and exemptions applied (presets for Belgium, France and Germany), every figure traceable
A forecast that runs decades out on income, spending, pensions, taxes and market swings, down to the month you could stop working
Rebalancing alerts when your mix drifts from the target you set
A review queue for imports, so nothing reaches your books unapproved
A weekly digest, a Telegram bot, and an API with read-only tokens, so your AI assistant can answer from your real numbers

And the part I get asked about most: every customer gets their own database and their own encryption keys, hosted in the EU. Connections are read-only, so it can see balances but never move money. If you leave, you export everything and the database and its backups are deleted. Or skip the hosting entirely: the desktop app runs the whole product on your own machine.
Finally something that pulls my messy mix of ISA, crypto and workplace pension into one number without yelling at me to upgrade. The lot-matching for capital gains actually matched a Vanguard trade I'd been chasing in a spreadsheet for months.
The single net-worth view is really refreshing after juggling spreadsheets for years, and the retirement forecast by month is a nice touch. One thing that would make it stick for me is a simple what-if slider for expected market returns so I can see how different assumptions shift that retirement date without re-entering my whole portfolio.
