I'm Carlos, the founder of Kraken Ops and I want to be upfront about where this came from.
I spent 14 years in construction sales , training reps at remodeling companies, running distributor networks, and most recently growing a PE-backed paving company from $22M to $30M in one year. The whole time, I watched roofing and siding contractors run their entire business out of spreadsheets, text threads, and memory.
The CRMs that existed were built for SaaS companies. The ones marketed to contractors were either too simple to be useful or too expensive to justify. Nobody had built something that actually matched how a contractor works, from the satellite takeoff to the signed contract to the customer portal.
So I built it myself.
