I built Korr because every grammar checker I tried sent my text to its servers, asked for an account, and capped the free plan.
So Korr runs entirely on your device. There is no analysis server at all, and you don't have to take my word for it: load the page, cut your connection, and it keeps correcting.
The hardest part wasn't correcting, it was knowing when NOT to. A checker that damages a correct sentence is worse than no checker, so every rule ships with counter-examples that must come out untouched. On our published corpora, 174 sentences were already correct, and none of them was damaged.

It's free, with no paid tier. The website and Chrome extension cover five languages; the Windows app covers French and English.
