Korosta
A local-first browser extension for a calmer job search
Korosta helps you review jobs on compatible sites: rate roles, fade repeat postings, hide companies, and get tentative suggestions from your ratings. Job-review data stays in your browser. Free for Chrome and Firefox, with optional Pro.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m the maker behind Korosta, a local-first browser extension for job seekers.
Job searching often means sorting through repeat postings and keeping track of which roles actually interest you. Korosta helps you review that information directly on compatible job pages.
With Korosta, you can:
- Rate roles and see tentative relevance suggestions based on your own ratings.
- Fade postings you have already seen, including matches recognized across supported sources.
- Hide companies you choose and focus on opportunities you want to review.
- Use built-in Cookbooks, or create and import configurations for compatible pages. A Cookbook tells Korosta how to recognize job cards on a page.
Your job-posting data, ratings, seen history, and Cookbooks stay in your browser. Optional Pro payments and license checks use external services separately.
Free works without an account or email and includes two working Cookbooks. Pro adds unlimited working Cookbooks, Cookbook export, local history backup and restore, rating analytics, and additional management controls.
Try it for Chrome or Firefox: https://covatools.com/korosta/
Which part of reviewing job postings is most repetitive for you? I’d love feedback on the workflow and which sources you’d want to use next.
