Hey Product Hunt! I'm Edu, a product designer from São Paulo. Kooler is actually a comeback. A friend and I built the first version back in 2010: a little social network for cocktail recipes, with one feature we loved — tell it what you have at home and it shows what you can make. In 2011 I moved to São Paulo for a new job and we shut it down. Fifteen years later I rebuilt it. I'm a designer, not a developer, so this time I built it with AI tools, from the database to the iOS app. What's in it: - My Bar: add what's in your cabinet and see every drink you can make - 100+ curated recipes, from the classics to Brazilian drinks most cocktail apps skip (Rabo de Galo, Macunaíma, Caju Amigo) - Clean recipe pages with clear measurements and consistent photos - Check-ins to rate a drink you had at a bar It's free, with no ads. Recipe submissions from the community are next. I'd love your feedback: what's missing, what's confusing, and which drink you'd look up first. 🍸

Coming back to something you built 15 years ago says a lot. And a designer building the whole thing, database to iOS app, is pretty inspiring. Congrats Edu...

the my-bar matching is the feature that actually gets used daily, most cocktail apps assume you'll just go buy the one missing ingredient and quietly become a shopping list app instead. curious about the edge case though: when a recipe needs something close to what's already in my bar but not exact, a different vermouth, gin instead of a specific bitters, does it ever surface a "one swap away" match, or is the matching strict on exact ingredients only? that's the difference between "here's what's technically in your bar" and "here's what you're actually drinking tonight." rebuilding this 15 years later as a solo designer with AI tools is a good story too, the first version clearly left a mark if you came back to it.

Not every home bartender wants complicated recipes with 15 ingredients. Simple classics would be my go-to here.

The best part for me is no paywall. Recipe apps that lock everything behind a subscription get annoying pretty quickly.

Wait, Brazilian cocktails too? I barely know anything beyond Caipirinhas . Which one would you recommend trying first?
