I've been drawn to the quant and investing world for a while, and the deeper I went, the more I kept hitting the same wall myself. The analysis is the rewarding part, but gathering and making sense of a company's data is a slow grind that kills momentum before the real thinking begins. That's the problem I set out to solve with Kompete: an AI research engine where you name a company and agents fan out to deliver a decision-ready diligence brief in minutes. My approach evolved as I built, I started thinking of it as a data tool, but watching how people actually wanted to use it pushed me toward synthesis over raw data, and toward making the output plug into how investors actually decide rather than just handing them more information.
