Excited to introduce Komo Playbook, The First AI operations team. Teach it once—with an SOP, screen recording, or plain English. No code. No canvas wiring. It reasons through exceptions, and runs your business workflow 24/7. How it works: 1. Teach Komo your process once (upload an SOP, record your screen, or just describe it in plain English). 2. Komo learns what you're trying to achieve—not just the steps, but the goals and nuances. 3. It runs continuously, triggered by real-world events (schedules, apps, webhooks, data changes). 4. It is cloud-native - use 100+ tools, browser, computers, runs 24/7 in parallel and scale on demand. 5. You see everything it did, with full transparency and source citations. With Komo, you don’t just get answers—you get work done end-to-end, with your tools and playbooks. It turned your messy workflows into easy-to-update playbooks. What used to take multiple teams months now runs in the background and shows up as finished work. We co-built Komo Playbook with teams from Private Equity, Recruiting, Finance and Real Estate companies etc to solve big pain-points: 1. Manual execution: Weeks to train new team members, slow to adapt when things change, you become the bottleneck, every new project means starting from scratch. 2. Building automation: Most "automation" is brittle—breaks in small changes change, and always waiting for engineers to fix. Komo is the third option: teach your process once, it runs forever with AI. Existing solutions takes millions per year for onboarding, training, developing and maintaining. Komo does it for just $20/month (Their inefficiency is your opportunity 😉) Try Komo Playbook free for 7 days: https://komo.ai This is our first step toward building the future of business. When a Playbook makes a decision on its own how much control do you have to step in or adjust it in mid-run if something doesn’t look right?

Very interesting product. After reading about Komo 1 question came in mind, what are the best models to use for different playbooks?

Really like what you are building here. I have been using Komo for research for a few months now and adding Playbooks changes how I think about using it. I had a question about scheduled runs. Can a Playbook run only when something changes, like new leads added to a CRM in the last 24 hours or is it based on fixed schedules for now? I’d also like to know if chaining Playbooks based on outputs is part of the plan. Overall, this is a good idea.

@angela_wu4 I’m trying to understand how deep the integrations go. For something like Salesforce, can it create and update records or does it only pull data?

Btw: Congrats on the launch

@angela_wu4 Congratulations on launching Komo Playbook. Quick question for you:  If I run the same playbook on 50 companies simultaneously does it parallelize or run sequentially?

Changing workflows is pretty common and that’s where some tools start to get hard to manage. I’ve run into that issue with setups like n8n when updates were needed. The no-code, no-wiring setup in Komo Playbook is easier to work with when things need to change.

I wanted to ask how this work with complex process? How well does the playbook/agent does in complex process?

A lot of work slows down because someone has to remember what comes next. If Playbooks can keep things moving after you set them up once, that helps a lot. Would like to see how this works in real use.

Could I pick your brain on this: Does it work for internal documents like using it to manage support email?

Edge cases bite SOP agents if you can't replay every step. Komo Playbook's workflow recording, plain-English SOP upload, and 100+ tool connectors feel like the right input. When it runs off triggers, can you gate risky actions behind approvals. That's what makes it shippable.

One thing I like in Komo playbook is that I can see what the system did and why. For work like this, the steps and sources matters, not only the result. That kind of visibility makes it easier to trust something running in the background.

I’ve been following Komo for a bit and this update caught my attention. Are there more new updates coming to the search product as well?

How does Komo Playbook decide when to act automatically vs. when to surface something for human review?

You repeat the same steps more often than you should. When Playbooks take that work off your plate and run it in the background you save time and focus on what actually needs your attention. I plan to try it.

AI-powered operations like where things are headed. Can Playbooks also work with browsers and computers or is it limited to APIs and tools?

I like the approach of no-code, no-wiring automation. n8n has been very hard to extend and maintain when I want to change it.

Congrats on the launch. Question for you: A lot of teams already work out of Slack all day. Could Playbooks be used from Slack or other messaging tools or do they need to be managed inside Komo?
I have used Komo mostly for research. Now it can also handle full workflows with Playbooks which is interesting. I am planning to try it and see how it fits into my work.

I’ve been using Komo for work-related research, and the experience has been amazing so far, Look forward to try out playbook.
