A platform for car and motorcycle enthusiasts, where you follow the vehicles, not the owners. Every vehicle gets its own profile and followers, you can run a whole garage from one account, and clubs and events are built in.
I'm a car person, I would say a real enthusiast, but also a software engineer, well, platform mostly aka SRE/DevOps. Most people in the tech industry started really young, but I spent most of my teenage days fixing cars with my dad in his shop.
I do quite a bit of driving, whether that's road trips through Europe or track days. As you can imagine, I have a lot of pictures and videos sitting in my camera roll. I wanted to share them somewhere, but also to keep all of it as a history of my car, which I don't plan to sell anytime soon.
I noticed that most people end up creating IG accounts for their vehicles, but IG is quite limited, and what people look for there is not what I would want to see.
I have to say I had never built an app from the ground up before this, so this was me wanting to see where AI currently is, but also to build something I would actually use. I can't say it's completely vibe coded, but AI was used extensively.
