I work on the business side, but I write code as a hobby. As AI started doing more of the day-to-day work, I kept thinking how nice it would be to have a business thinking partner — one I didn't have to brief from scratch every time, and one that didn't forget the idea we kicked around last week.
Because business thinking doesn't finish in one conversation. It builds up over weeks. You dump half-formed notes somewhere, argue about a direction, go look things up, change your mind twice, and eventually it has to become a deck or a decision someone signs off on.
But every time you open a new AI chat, you start from zero. Re-explain the company, re-paste the numbers, re-describe the market. The answer survives, and the thinking that took you all that time to get to disappears into a transcript nobody scrolls back to.
So I built KOBI.
The whole idea is that everything lives in one project. The files you upload, the notes on the canvas, the frameworks you fill in, the meeting recordings — KOBI reads from all of it. Open it up any day and you just pick up where you left off.
If you want a specific perspective mid-conversation, type @ and pull in a specialist. The workspace next to the chat reshapes itself around whatever you're doing — a canvas for shaping ideas, a map for site questions, a dashboard for numbers, a deck you can export when it's time to present.
My favorite part: what you talk about turns into artifacts, not transcripts. Research a direction and it lands as a card on your board you can move, edit, and link. Open the same board as a teammate and you'll see each other's cursor. Three weeks later, your thinking is still sitting there in the shape you left it.
To be straight with you: it won't replace your PM tool or CRM, and it isn't an agent that runs your business while you sleep. Day one it's honestly pretty mediocre. It only gets useful once your own documents and decisions are in it — which is a real cost we haven't fully solved yet.
