Author and improve the skills your agents use with versioning, observability, and sharing. Hand the Knack CLI to the AI agent already on your machine; it interviews you, captures your real workflows, judgment, and edge cases, and publishes portable skills that run in Claude, Cursor, Codex, or any agent. Build, version, share, and refine. Self-host via GitHub, or use Knack Cloud.

Top comment

Hi everyone! After building agentic systems for small teams, I realized there was no real way to author, share, observe, or improve skills. The skill.md format is a beautiful and simple way to capture agentic workflows across all agent providers, but it ships with no telemetry that is crucial for complex workflows. I hope to solve this problem with Knack, so teams can confidently move forward with their agent workflows, knowing that they can identify edge cases, regressions, and potential improvements as they iterate over time. No more sharing skill.md's via Slack!

Who hunted Knack?

Knack was hunted by Jordan Gibbs. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
