Hey Product Hunt! I'm Oli, a solo dev. I built KlipCode because I kept bouncing between my desktop and a laptop at the library, and needed a fast way to save and grab code snippets without reaching for GitHub Gists or a Notion doc that wasn't built for code. It's local-first (IndexedDB, works fully offline, no account needed), with nested folders, drag-and-drop organizing, pinned snippets, and syntax highlighting for 25+ languages. If you want your snippets synced across devices, you can sign in with GitHub and it backs everything up to Supabase. It's fully open source, MIT licensed, built with Next.js, React, and CodeMirror. Finally tried KlipCode this morning and the local-first approach is such a relief, no more worrying about another cloud service going down. The nested folders and pin feature feel really well thought out for actual daily use.
Love the local-first approach and that GitHub sync is optional. One thing that would make this a daily driver for me: a quick fuzzy command palette to search snippets by content, language, or tag, ideally bound to a global shortcut so I can paste from anywhere without opening the app first.
