Hi Product Hunt! 🐾
I'm one of the co-founders of KittyHome. After 10 years in software, one thing kept bugging me: the hardest part of starting out isn't the code, it's not knowing who to ask. Discord servers get noisy, forums feel cold, and reaching out to a senior dev on LinkedIn feels like knocking on a stranger's door.
So we built the Grid: a little 3D world where everyone is a cat. Walking up to someone and saying hi feels natural there. Professionals glow with a green beam so you can find them, and when nobody's around, our AI mentor cats (Mochi for careers, Pixel for frontend, Byte for backend, Professor Whiskers for data, Nimbus for cloud) are always up for a question.
It started as just a place to talk, but people kept coming back to hang out, so we added reasons to stay: daily duties, trivia in the arcade, treasure hunts, a Weekend Cup, and coins to spend on hats and new characters (the dragon can fly, the ninja teleports 🥷).
