Kittine (pronounced **"kitten"**) is a modern programming language currently under development, designed with a simple goal: > **Make software development more enjoyable without sacrificing performance, reliability, or scalability.** Rather than being just another language, Kittine is being developed as a complete ecosystem where the language, tooling, documentation, and developer experience are designed to work together. ## Why Kittine? Modern software development often involves stitching together dozens of tools before writing meaningful code. Developers spend time configuring environments, searching for compatible plugins, and managing dependencies instead of building software. Kittine aims to simplify that experience.
