I've always believed the internet is full of incredibly useful content. Every day I come across tutorials, Reddit threads, YouTube videos, articles, and ideas that I know I'll want to revisit someday.
The problem wasn't saving them, it was actually making them useful later.
Most bookmark apps I tried were basically just collections of links. You could save something, but that was it. I couldn't write detailed notes about why I saved it, add reminders to revisit it, customize the thumbnail to make it easier to recognize, or organize everything the way I wanted.
Eventually, my bookmarks became another place where information went to be forgotten.
That's why I built Kipu.
Kipu lets you save content from almost any app in a single tap, but it also lets you enrich your bookmarks instead of treating them like plain URLs. You can organize them, search through them, add your own context, and build a library you'll actually come back to.
Privacy was another priority from day one. Your library stays encrypted, supports biometric lock, and doesn't rely on ads or algorithms competing for your attention.
I've been building Kipu during evenings and weekends, and it's now replaced my browser bookmarks, saved Reddit posts, and dozens of random notes.
