Hi Product Hunt 👋

I built Kindmemo because I kept doing the same small, embarrassing thing: a friend would tell me something that mattered. A job interview on Thursday, their mum's surgery, the name of the dog they'd just adopted — and two weeks later I'd have nothing. Not because I didn't care. Because I have a normal human memory and forty people I care about.

Every tool I tried to fix this with was a CRM wearing a friendly hat. Pipelines for people. Health scores for friendships. "You haven't contacted Sarah in 47 days." That framing made me feel worse, not closer, and I stopped using all of them within a week.

So Kindmemo is built on three rules I refused to break:

1. It never makes you feel bad. No streaks, no scores, no red badges, no counts of people you've neglected. Reminders offer "maybe check in," "snooze," or "not now" and nothing bad happens if you pick the last one. A private notebook doesn't nag you.

2. Capture takes seconds, structure is optional. You type "Priya — ramen place near the park, wants to do a picnic in June" and hit save. That's a complete, valid entry forever. If you want it structured — a birthday, a gift idea, a reminder — that's one more tap, never a required form.

3. It's yours. There's no account and no server that holds what you write. Everything lives in a local store on your iPhone with file protection on. iCloud sync is optional, off by default on every device, and goes to your private iCloud — I have no way to read it.

It's 100% native SwiftUI for iOS 26 — Liquid Glass, widgets, Siri and Shortcuts, Spotlight, share sheet. On devices with Apple Intelligence it can suggest details it spots in a note you already wrote, but it proposes and you confirm; nothing becomes a saved fact without you tapping save.

$1.99, paid once. No subscription, no tier above yours, no ads. I'd rather sell you a thing than rent you a relationship.

I'm here - genuinely want to hear where it doesn't fit how you keep track of people.

Who hunted Kindmemo?

Kindmemo was hunted by Michal Kos. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
