KeyPop plays a sound every time you press a key, in any Windows app. Mechanical keyboards, birds, animals, a piano and a combo counter that tracks your typing streak. Add your own recordings too. Free to try; a one-time licence unlocks it everywhere. It only listens for key presses to play a sound and never records or sends what you type.

Hi Product Hunt! I built KeyPop because the keyboard-sound apps I liked were all Mac-only, and I'm on Windows. It sits in the tray and plays a sound for each key: thocky mechanical boards, birds, animals, a piano that turns typing into notes, and a combo counter that tracks your streak. You can also add your own recordings. It's free to download and try. A one-time licence ($9.99, or $4.99 for the first 20 people with code FIRST20) makes the sounds play in every app. Privacy: it only listens for key presses so it can play a sound. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent. I'd love to hear which sounds you want next.
