Kempt
Your Mac's papers, named, found and sent. All on-device.
Kempt keeps your Mac's paperwork in order with Apple's on-device AI. • A download lands: the notch names it and files it. • Ask "what's my IBAN?" (⌃⌥Space): the answer, with the paper it came from. • Asked for papers? Drag the email onto the notch: Kempt finds each one, flags what's expired or missing, watermarks your ID copy and drafts the reply in Mail. Nothing leaves your Mac. No account. Every move can be undone. One-time purchase, 14-day free trial.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Yassir, and I built Kempt on my own, from France.
The trigger: every rental application, visa or new job asks for the same papers ("your last 3 payslips, your tax notice, ID, bank details…"), and I'd lose an evening digging through a Downloads folder full of "scan_0042.pdf".
So Kempt does three things, entirely on your Mac with Apple Intelligence:
1. Names and files every download as it lands, right in the notch, with a countdown and Undo.
2. Answers questions about your files: "what's my IBAN?", "when is my flight?", always with the paper it came from.
3. New today: drag a request for papers (an email or a PDF) onto the notch. Kempt finds each paper, refuses to tick a near-match (an attestation isn't your health card), watermarks your ID copy with who it's for, and writes the reply in Mail with everything attached in their order.
Why on-device: these are your payslips and your passport. No account, no upload, no tracking. The only network request is a daily update check.
It's a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial.
I'd love your toughest feedback, especially on the papers flow. What papers do you get asked for most often?
