KeepMD It's a markdown editor that lives entirely on your device. No account, no cloud sync, no tracking. Just open and write. You get a clean Visual mode when you want to focus, and a powerful split-screen Source mode when you want control. Tables are finally easy — just click to add rows and columns. Your notes stay yours. Forever.
I built KeepMD because I was tired of bloated writing apps that require constant cloud connection or compromise on data privacy. KeepMD is a lightweight, 100% private Markdown editor that lives entirely on your device using local IndexedDB storage—zero servers, zero tracking, and fully offline-first.
It gives you: a distraction-free Visual in-place mode (with interactive table row/column controls and smart formatting) (like typora) alongside a robust Source mode (with side-by-side split preview and instant local search) (for developers).
I would love for you to try it out and let me know your thoughts or feature requests!
