KeepKnown
The filter builder your Gmail and Outlook should have
KeepKnown is an advanced filter builder for Gmail and Outlook. Combine relationship, history, header, attachment, subject, and mailbox signals with nested logic; preview rules on real mail; activate in Shadow, Review Only, or Enforce where supported; and trace every match in a decision log. New filters save paused, reusable templates speed up common workflows, and core filtering does not read email bodies.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Aymane, maker of KeepKnown.
I built KeepKnown because my inbox kept making me re-decide the same things: who deserves attention, what can wait, and why something moved. Native Gmail and Outlook filters are great for simple criteria; I wanted a real test bench for the rules around a high-noise inbox.
KeepKnown gives you:
• Up to 20 conditions and three nested logic levels
• Relationship signals like contacts, replied-before, VIP domains, and sender groups
• Real-mail previews; new filters save paused
• Shadow, Review Only, and Enforce where the provider supports them
• Decision history showing which filter matched and why
• Gmail and Outlook support without changing email clients
Core filtering does not read email bodies. Subject-based rules only use encrypted subject metadata when explicitly configured.
I’d love feedback from Gmail and Outlook power users: what’s the rule you’ve wanted to build but your inbox couldn’t express—or the automation you were afraid to turn on?
