I’m Francesco, maker of KColor.
I first launched KColor around two years ago as a simple colour palette generator. Since then, I’ve completely rebuilt the product around around the feedback and need of the community.
The new KColor lets you generate palettes with AI by describing the mood, brand or style you want. But the biggest change is the redesigned previewer. Instead of just looking at a row of colours, you can test palettes in real UI contexts, explore colour roles, pin favourites, check contrast, and copy production-ready values more easily.
I built this because I often found colour tools either too basic or too bloated. I wanted something fast, 100% free, practical and focused: generate a palette, see if it works, then use it.
I’d love your feedback, especially on the new previewer and whether the AI workflow feels useful in a real design process.
