Kazu was inspired by a simple frustration I kept seeing in Panama: people work hard, spend across cards, cash, Yappy, food, outings, subscriptions, and small daily expenses, but at the end of the month they still ask, “Where did my money go?”
I wanted to build something calmer than a spreadsheet and more private than connecting a bank account. Kazu helps you log expenses by voice, text, or screenshot, then turns that into clear categories so you can understand your money without feeling judged.
The process evolved from “just track expenses” into something more human: reduce friction, ask for confirmation before saving, keep the tone simple, and make money clarity feel fast, local, and stress-free.
