Not sure how I feel about this one — rides the edge of being okay-not okay? I guess it just begs the question — should celebrities or public figures have rights to AI generated likenesses? Seems like that cat is out of the bag at this point! And if so, then this is a pretty useful search engine.
It’s an interesting project from SEO perspective. Curious how Google will treat AI generated content will all the recent updates.

Chris, thank you for hunting! https://kazimir.ai is a non-commercial weekend project. There are plenty of AI-generated images out there, but we decided to focus exclusively on photorealistic images of real people.
The images are imported using the Civitai API and created by the amazing Civitai community.
Some technical insights:
- We used ChatGPT 3.5 to parse the model name and extract a possible person's name from it.
- We then used the Perplexity API to generate descriptions for each person. The Perplexity API is great because it generates responses based on information from the top Google search results.
- The data is stored in an Elasticsearch index. The intermediate data returned by the Civitai API is stored in MongoDB.
- Kazimir.ai search is powered by Elasticsearch and the knowledge base of celebrities we built for this project.
- The web app is hosted on Microsoft Azure using ASP.NET MVC.
- DNS is managed by Cloudflare.
- Image import scripts are written in Python.
This project is non-commercial, and we're still exploring what to do next with it. It has great potential for organic search traffic because of the large number of attractive pages it generates. If you have any ideas for collaboration, please reach out to me. My Twitter handle is in my profile.
