Hey everyone, Yong here. I've watched a lot of people try to build agent builders for non-technical users, and I've watched almost nobody actually use them. OpenAI's Agent SDK, n8n, the workflow builders. Powerful tools, all of them, and every one asks you to become an operator before you get anything back. The thing I kept coming back to is that agents should be as easy to hand someone as a Google Doc link. Build the service well enough that a non-technical person can build an agent for their own productivity and just use it. The gap is not building. Building an agent takes minutes now. Keeping one alive takes an engineer, and that's the part almost nobody solved. Kavela is that part. What it looks like: - Describe what you want in plain language. Kavela builds it, wires it to your tools, and hosts it. It keeps running after you close the tab. - It lives in Telegram and Slack, so the agent messages you instead of you going somewhere to check on it. - Your API keys stay in inline cards you control and are never handed to the agent. That's what makes it safe to hand your agent to someone who has never opened a terminal. - Nothing is preset. If an agent is missing something, you tell it to change and it changes. No feature request, no waiting on my roadmap. - Every agent in your org taps one shared file system, so agents build on each other's work instead of starting cold. The one I use every day is a set of news agents in Telegram. I now have more AI alpha sitting in my phone than I can read, and I just ask it for what I want instead of going and looking. I'm adding more researchers for myself as I go. Someone else built a website builder on Kavela with his own 3D designs in it, which was really cool to see someone else's designs get engraved into a distributable agent. Agents on Kavela can stand up sites, navigate the web, and run CLI tools like GitHub. Though video generation isn't there yet(soon!!). 53 orgs have built 408 agents so far, and those have run 26,707 times autonomously. What I'd love from you: the free plan gives you 400 credits, which is enough to build something real. Build it, see what breaks, and tell me. Then publish it to the marketplace. There are three agents on there right now, so anything you put up is early. The boring one you'd actually run every morning is worth more than a clever demo. Telegram and Slack today. More messaging platforms once those two are genuinely good. If your messaging platform supports API/OAuth2, they are supported as well. Can't wait to see what you build.
