I grew up in Europe, where three or four languages are spoken within a few hours' drive. Learning them always meant juggling two kinds of apps.
Anki never forgot a word for me, but I had to build every course myself.
Duolingo guided me day after day, but the words quietly slipped away.
So I built Kardamone, to bring the two together:
• Word lists for every CEFR level, from A1 to C2, written and checked for each language pair
• Spaced repetition on every word, so each one comes back just before you would forget it
• Typed answers instead of multiple choice, because recalling a word is how you keep it
• Grammar explained the way a good textbook does, with exercises where you choose the right form
• A guided start for your first days, then short texts and dialogues at your level
• Your own lists too: type them, import a CSV, or bring your Anki notes across
From Lisbon to Kyiv, from Helsinki to Athens: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Greek, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Czech, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Romanian, Croatian, Turkish and more. Many pairs don't go through English at all, so you can learn Italian straight from German, or Spanish straight from French.
