I run Kapitol.ai, where I track U.S. Congress stock trades. The request I kept hearing from developers was "can I get this as an API?" so I built one.
Rather than reselling someone else's feed, we read the official House Clerk and Senate disclosure sources directly: every filer, both chambers, including the scanned paper filings that are easy to miss. Each record is the full filing, asset descriptions, exact amount ranges, filer comments, transaction subtypes, and spouse/dependent trades, with history back to 2012 and new disclosures within minutes.
