I’m a solo developer and Kaphiy is my first app.
I built it because I kept forgetting which coffees I actually liked. I tried using notes and other apps, but everything felt either too complex or not really designed for personal tracking.
So I decided to build something simple: a clean space where I could log, rate and understand my own coffee preferences over time.
One thing I focused a lot on is keeping the experience minimal and personal, no accounts, no social features, no clutter. Just you and your coffee history.
Over time, I added things like automatic ranking, price-per-unit comparison, and support for both coffee bags and cups, all based on feedback from early users.
