I built Kalance because logging food should not require accepting ads or losing basic tools behind a paywall. The first version focuses on one job: add what you ate and understand the day quickly. I am launching it before forming a company to test a simple question honestly: will people use it and come back? The diary, scanner and daily balance stay free. I would especially value feedback from people who left another tracker because it felt noisy or slow.
