JYC Carbide End Mills
Precision carbide cutting tools for CNC shops worldwide
JYC Carbide makes tungsten carbide end mills and cutting tools for CNC machining shops. Built for consistent tolerances and longer tool life across batches, so shops running unattended shifts don't lose time to unexpected tool failure. Custom geometries available for hardened steel and specialty applications.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
We're JYC, and we make tungsten carbide cutting tools — end mills, mainly — for CNC shops that can't afford tool failure mid-run.
We started this because we kept hearing the same frustration from machinists: tool life that varies wildly batch to batch, and suppliers who can't turn around a custom geometry fast enough to matter. So we focused on two things — tight tolerance consistency and faster response on custom requests.
This isn't a SaaS product or an app — it's a physical tool that lives on a CNC spindle. We know that's a little different from most of what gets posted here, but we wanted to share it with a community that appreciates good engineering, wherever it shows up.
Happy to answer anything about tolerances, coatings, or lead times in the comments.
honestly looks solid, one thing that would help a lot is adding downloadable G-code or cutting parameter sheets for each tool, basically feeds and speeds recommended for common materials like 4140 or aluminum, so we don't have to guess on the shop floor
Would love to see a downloadable G-code or feeds and speeds chart on each product page. A lot of shops don't want to email back and forth for basic starting parameters, especially when trying out a new supplier on a tight job.
Ran these through some 4140 jobs last week and the wear after 40+ parts looked better than what I was getting from the carbide I usually buy. The finish held up nicely too.
Would love to see a batch serialization option so we can track performance and wear life per lot in our CAM logs. Helps us dial in feeds and speeds for repeat jobs and gives us real data when deciding reorder timing.
