JWT Inspector is a Chrome extension built for developers to decode and inspect JSON Web Tokens in seconds. Analyze headers, claims and expiration times directly inside your browser with complete privacy.
Hi Product Hunt!
I'm excited to launch JWT Inspector today.
As a full-stack developer, I work with JWTs almost every day while building APIs and authentication systems. I often found myself switching between browser tabs, online decoders, and documentation just to inspect a token.
I built JWT Inspector to make this process simpler and faster.
With JWT Inspector, developers can:
- Decode JWTs instantly
- Inspect headers and payloads
- View expiration information
- Copy claims easily
- Keep everything local in the browser for privacy
The goal was to create a lightweight developer tool that saves time during debugging and development.
I'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and feature requests. Thanks for checking it out and supporting the launch! 🚀
