I built JustClock out of pure frustration.
As a dev, I kept losing billable hours simply because I’d forget to hit “start” or “stop” on a timer. I’d close my IDE at the end of the day and realize half my work was completely unrecorded.
Before building my own thing, I tried pretty much every time tracker out there. They were either bloated with useless features I didn't need, missing the actual features I did, or just ridiculously expensive for what they offered.
So I built something lightweight that just gets out of the way and tracks active time automatically in the background.
A few key highlights:
Zero manual input: No stopwatches, no manual logs. It just tracks active time while you code.
Fits your setup: Works across VS Code, Cursor, Visual Studio, and the whole JetBrains family (PhpStorm, IntelliJ, PyCharm, Android Studio, etc.).
Privacy-first: It only logs the project name and active time. It never looks at your code, keystrokes, or files.
