For that friend who texts you stuff they could just Google. Type their question, get a shareable link. They click it, watch an animation show them how to search it on Perplexity, then get redirected. Educational. Passive-aggressive. Hilarious.
Hey PH! Niks here, maker of Just Ask Perplexity 👋
This started as a joke. A friend kept texting me questions that took 3 seconds to Google. I wanted to say "just search it" without actually being rude about it.
So I built this instead.
It took one afternoon — pure HTML/CSS/JS, no frameworks, no backend. You type a question, get a link. The person who clicks it gets a little animated lesson in self-sufficiency, complete with a Shia LaBeouf meme and a redirect to Perplexity AI.
A few things I'd love your take on:
→ What other dumb questions should I pre-load as examples?
→ Should I add a "roast mode" with more savage copy?
→ Would you use this on your group chat?
Happy to answer anything. Try it out and let me know the dumbest question you've been asked lately 👇
