I'm excited to introduce JugaadLang ๐ฎ๐ณ โ Code karo Hindi mein, Duniya hila do!
The idea came from a simple observation: millions of Indian students think and communicate in Hindi, but when they start learning programming, they are immediately forced to switch to English keywords and terminology. For many beginners, that extra language barrier makes coding feel harder than it needs to be.
I wanted to explore a fun question:
What if programming felt more local, familiar, and enjoyable?
That's how JugaadLang was born.
JugaadLang is a Python-inspired programming language that replaces traditional keywords with easy-to-understand Hindi (Roman Hindi) keywords while keeping the power of the Python ecosystem. I also wanted coding to be less intimidating, so I added funny error messages, desi-inspired built-in functions, and a developer experience that doesn't take itself too seriously.
During development, the project evolved from a small experiment into a complete language ecosystem with:

โ Python compatibility
โ Package manager support
โ VS Code tooling
โ Fun diagnostics and error messages
โ Beginner-friendly learning experience
My goal isn't to replace Python. It's to make programming more approachable, especially for students and first-time developers who may feel overwhelmed when starting their coding journey.
