I built Jot because every screen recorder I tried uploaded my videos to someone else's server. For quick dev demos, bug reports, or client walkthroughs — I just wanted a recording that stays on my machine.
How it works:

- All processing happens locally
- Your video never leaves your device. Zero servers, zero accounts, zero uploads.
- Output is a standard H.264 MP4 that plays everywhere
