Why we built Joblira
We kept seeing the same problem from different angles.
People had skills but couldn't find opportunities. Businesses needed people to get things done but didn't always know where to find reliable talent. And many opportunities never reached the people who were capable of taking them.
We realized the problem wasn't a lack of talent.
It was the connection between talent and opportunity.
That's why we started building Joblira.
Instead of treating work as only "find a job and get hired," Joblira is built around real tasks and opportunities. A business can post something it needs done, an earner can find an opportunity that matches what they can do, and both sides can connect through one platform.
We're starting with Nigeria because we understand the market we're building for, but the bigger idea is much broader:
Talent is universal. Opportunity is not.
This is our first major step toward changing that.
