Hours lost to searching and filtering across multiple platforms, and the industry is optimizing only the other side of the coin.
My idea was simple.
Index every job in the world and build the best retrieval layer.
You enter your resume. You get the jobs that are actually 100% for you: location eligibility, skill comparison, role fit, everything done under the hood.
Jobless is live today.
Over a million live jobs, and growing daily.
Every day, you get a fresh set of roles that genuinely fit you.
And if there is nothing in our corpus, we go the extra step and search the web for more.
Everything else grew around that, into a full set of features, to take the busywork out.
It started two years ago as an engineering challenge.
Honestly, more than I could chew at the time.
But what kept me going were the problems with no standard playbook that came with building it.
I had to explore, experiment and figure things out on my own, but that is the way I love to learn.
It has been in beta for four months.
Around 500 people tried it, around 50 became active users, and two got hired.
Still a long way to go, but knowing something I built had a positive impact made it feel worth it.
