I built Jobbot because I was applying with the same CV every time and getting nothing back. The problem is not your experience, it is that most applications are read by software before a human sees them, and a generic CV never uses the words the job ad uses. Here is how it works: upload your CV once, or import your LinkedIn profile as a PDF export. Paste a job ad, or just its URL. About thirty seconds later you get a CV rewritten around what that role actually asks for, a cover letter that matches it, and a score showing how close the two are. Both come out as text PDFs rather than images, so parsers can read every line. It writes in the language of the ad, so a French posting gets a French CV and an English one gets English. One note on the timing of this launch: the app was French only until this week. Half the people signing up were not French speakers, so I spent two days making the whole product bilingual. Today is the first day it makes sense in English. First three applications are free, no card needed. I would really like to hear where it falls short, especially on ads outside France.
