Hi Product Hunt! I built JobSentry during my own job search after 20+ years in enterprise IT.
Two things drove me crazy: rankings I could not audit (why is this job "95% match"? nobody says), and ghost listings that stay up for months after being filled.
So JobSentry works differently:
1. It reads employer career systems directly and marks a job closed the day it disappears from the source.
2. Every score shows its work: title fit, skills, salary, location, even security clearance requirements, point by point. Dismiss a job, tell it why, and it recalibrates.
3. When you apply, it writes a tailored resume and cover letter bound by a hard rule: it never invents experience you do not have. It makes your real record land harder, which is exactly why you can send it.
