I'm Ujjal, founder of Jingo. We just launched on iOS this past weekend.
Why we built this. A few of us came out of Walmart, Pinterest, Google, and Nike, and we kept hitting the same wall as shoppers: every app we used had quietly become unusable. Amazon is 14 sponsored tiles before a real product. Instagram is one Temu ad after another. TikTok Shop is full of stuff that arrives looking nothing like the video. Even Pinterest, which used to be the safe one for saving outfits and mood boards, is now mostly sponsored pins with broken Visit buttons.
The pattern was the same everywhere: ads, dropshippers, fake reviews, $12 shipping surprises, and coupon-hunting as a tax on every checkout.
So we built Jingo as the opposite of all of that:
