I'm the maker of Jelice, a marketplace and order tool for home and independent pastry chefs in France. The problem: most bakers and cake designers take orders through Instagram, WhatsApp or TikTok DMs. That means endless back-and-forth ("are you free on the 14th?", "how much for 20 people?"), lost messages and forgotten orders.
With Jelice, every baker gets their own shop page (jelice.net/space/their-name) to share in their bio. Customers can:
- order in under a minute, without creating an account
- pick a real available pickup or delivery slot
- see allergens, servings and prep time upfront
- request a custom quote for wedding cakes or number cakes
- track, reschedule or cancel their order through a secure link
Bakers manage everything from one dashboard, with email and SMS alerts and optional online payment (deposit or full) through Stripe. Sign-up is free. We already have 100+ bakers listed. The app is in French and available in France only for now.
