Hey everyone 👋
iwashere.page started after I saw an online art project where people could permanently place images onto a public canvas. I loved the idea, but wanted to rebuild it around founders, projects and internet history.
So I turned it into a growing public archive where people can permanently claim a spot with a logo/photo, short message and link. The first founder spots stay fixed at the center while future layers expand outward over time.
One interesting side effect is that every spot also becomes a permanent backlink to the founder’s own page.
Kept the whole thing intentionally lightweight:
no accounts, no feeds, no likes — just a permanent little mark on the internet.
