We built iwant because trying an open model often turns into an infrastructure project. Even finding a region with enough available GPUs can take time. Run iwant up, pick a model, and iwant hunts across GCP regions for available GPU capacity. It then provisions the machine, downloads the weights, and configures vLLM. You get an OpenAI-compatible endpoint, an API key, and SSH access. All in your own cloud account, perfect way to use your credits. We tested the model recipes to abstract out hardware requirements and serving configuration altogether. Bring your GCP account, GPU quota, and credits if you have them. Inspect the plan with --dry-run and remove the cluster with iwant down when you’re finished. What model would you want to run next?

Who hunted iwant?

iwant was hunted by Oskar Kocol. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
