A catalogue of independent software: web tools, games, open-source projects. Every listing is fetched every six hours and the result is recorded, so each page shows whether the app works now, when it last did, and what changed along the way. The only numbers are the ones we measured: no scores, no trending, no invented ratings. Apps that die stay in the record as a graveyard. Creators can claim a listing and embed a live status badge in their README.

Hi, I'm the maker. I built this because every directory of indie software I used had the same problem: a third of the links were dead, and nothing told you which third. Listings were added once and never looked at again. It Still Works checks instead of lists. Every published listing is fetched on a six-hour schedule, 40,817 checks so far across 672 listings, and the result goes into a record you can read on each page: whether it answered, how fast, when its visible content last changed, when its certificate expires. If an app stops answering three times in a row it moves to the graveyard, and the graveyard stays public, because knowing what used to work is part of the point. A few things it deliberately does not do. No usefulness scores, no trending, no ratings we didn't measure. Where a fact was detected by a machine rather than confirmed by a person, the page says so. For installed software and repositories it says plainly that the check reached the project's site or GitHub, not the tool itself. It has already been wrong once. itch.io blocked our server for a while and forty working games were recorded as failing. The fix was a host-refusal rule in the sweep and a repair that removed the checks the rule would have declined to write. The schedule itself is visible on the Jobs page, every run recorded, because a claim like "checked every six hours" should be checkable too. If you make something, you can claim your listing and put the status badge in your README. It updates itself and links to the verification record. I'd like to know what you'd want to see on a listing page before you trusted it, and what you'd expect to find that isn't there.
